Wendy Knight
I am a Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT) and Member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA). I am a graduate of the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. I also hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and MSc in Psychology, a Post-Graduate Advanced Diploma in Child Development, an Associate Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions, and Accelerated Trauma Training.
I work with individuals and families of every age and developmental stage and embrace a family systems approach to art therapy. I am passionate about healing through art therapy. I believe that healing through supported art making and expression can be a life changing experience. I pride myself in creating a safe, relaxing sanctuary in which each unique individual is welcomed and nourished to support change and personal growth. I believe the art therapy process can help make meaning of past and current experiences and provide practical tools for ongoing wellbeing and to support a healthier future.
Beyond my vocation, I am devoted to family and enjoy photography, nature and exploration through travel.
